Former president Mauricio Macri has expressed his concern about the possible consequences if Kirchnerism wins again in the province of Buenos Aires and in the Autonomous City. In an interview for the Todo Noticias (TN) channel, Macri described this situation as "a catastrophe."
During his statements, Macri compared the attitude of PRO with that of the libertarians, emphasizing that his party was characterized by "coming with intelligence and capability" in contrast to other ways of acting in politics.
Furthermore, the former president praised the governor of Chubut, Ignacio Torres, mentioning that if he continues with his management, the province could become a prosperous place, alluding to Kuwait as an example.
Regarding the Buenos Aires Legislature, Macri opined that it should have "30 legislators," although he admitted that they never had enough support to carry out a constitutional reform that would allow such a change. In this regard, he criticized the lack of action by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, the current head of government of the City of Buenos Aires, for not prioritizing the reduction in the number of legislators in the City.
